My mom’s B2 visa was expired at May 20 and I applied my mom’s B2 extension at April, 21. USCIS received the letter at April 23. The problem is so far I have not received the receipt. I was told as long as you hold the receipt; you are legal before the decision sent to you. Does that mean my mom already is illegal? I will call USCIS to ask the case status. Just want to get some ideas from every “Da Xia”. Thanks in advance.
