I'm wondering if I need to extend/renew my H-4. Here is my current status. I have an I-485 Adjustment to Permanent Resident Application based on my father's employment pending. I also have an approved AP. I left the US a month ago to travel abroad; therefore, my H-4 expired when I departed. Now I have been paroled into the US using my AP. Do I need to extend/renew my H-4, and what are pros and cons of extending/renewing my H-4?
