Saw so many Green today! Just went to check my pending I-485 and found that it was approved on Nov 20, 2007.
Here is my information:
I-140 Submitted on May 27, 2005
I-140 Approve on Jun 27, 2005
I-485 Submitted on August 5, 2005
First finger print on Oct 1, 2005
Second finger print on May 31, 2007
After second finger print and the visa moved to my priority date and went to Info-pass and found both my hu*****and and mine name check is pending.
Wrote letter to congressman: No help
Wrote letter to senator's office
Wrote letter to First lady: her office forwarded my letter to FBI
Got FBI reply on August 15, 2007 said that my name check is still pending
Got letter from FBI and senator and informed me that my name check is clear on Oct 23, 2007 and there is a visa available and my case will be final reviewed by an officer.
Wrote several letters to the Director of TSC center to remind them
I-485 was approve Nov 20, 2007
But, my hu*****and's I-485 still pending
My experience:
Senator and first lady really help my case. Don't be afraid to seek help from them.
