just got the email from Congressman,

Dear ~@~:
Thank you for contacting me regarding the Citizenship and Immigration Backlog Reduction Act, H.R. 3828. I appreciate hearing your perspective on this piece of legislation.
H.R. 3832 was introduced by Congresswoman Yvette Clark of New York on October 15, 2007. This bill has been referred to the House Judiciary Committee for further action and review. Unfortunately, I am not a member of this committee. However, like you, I feel that the backlog of the FBI name check has become excessive. I do firmly believe that background and name checks are a necessary step for the security of the U.S., but I do not think applicants should have to wait years for results. I will give this bill careful consideration and should I be given the opportunity to vote on it, I will keep your position in mind.
Once again, thank you for taking the time to contact me. Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate in contacting me again.
Very truly yours,
_(c) _(c)
Member of Congress
