I applied to extend My mom's b2 visa on September. At that time we thought she would leave for China after January 1st, so I stupidly mentioned for 3 month extension. But things changed, my mom decided to help me a little bit longer and leaves back before Chinese New year. I checked the processing date as May when I booked the airticket for my mom on 1/26/08. And I was told that it is legal for her to leave even when her petition for extension is still pending....so i purchased the ticket on 1/26/08. But yesterday I got the approval letter for my mom to stay till 01/10/2008.
Please let me know if there is any way I can let my mom leave on 1/26/08 without having any back record? Thanks a lot!
