My hu*****and and I had an argument six years ago. My hu*****and was sued by the police but the case was dismissed later. When my hu*****and filled in the I-485 application, he didn't claim that he had an arrest and crime before, since we thought the case was dismissed back then and the our argument was not that bad. But now we recieved a notice for I-485 interview in the local office. We are worried that this will become an issue. Our attorney told us that they will add an amendment for I-485 application indicating that my hu*****and had an arrest before. However, my hu*****and's case is fallen into the category of domestic violence and battery, which sounds serious. I want to know how we should deal with this issue for the interview, how we should talk about it in the interview. Is this case going to affect our I-485 application and interview?
