我的情况是这样的, 美国拿的学位, 现为博士后, 签证是在美国从F1转到J1的, 现在准备办豁免. 有几个填表问题想请教各位:
国务院DS-3035表:
第17栏: If the EV changed to J-1 visa status while already in the U.S., enter the date of status change,
control number and issuing post of that first J-1 visa.
这里怎么填control number和 issuing post呀? 从移民局寄来的I797上没有这两个信息. 另外port of entry 和 entry state of entry是不是就不用填了?
第12栏: exchange visitor program 的begin date 填什么呢? 是DS2019表上的时间吗?我的DS2019表上写的开始时间是2007年2月1号, 但是F1转J1是2006年12月19号批准生效的,I797和新I94上写的是J1 valid from Dec.19 2006.不知用哪个日期.
最后第13栏,Is there any period of time in the U.S. that is not covered by your form DS-2019/formerly IAP-66? 是否要介绍一下自己F1的情况?
