I am doing H-1B extension. My wife is working in a company with her EAD. Both of us have I-485 in pending (I140 has been approved).
Question 1: My wife needs to apply for her H-4 extension or it is OK to hold her AOS status (since she is using her EAD).
Question 2: My wife's new passport will be available after my H1B extension application is submitted. So is it possible for us to apply for her H-4 extension after my H1B extension? Is it required to combine H1B and H4 extension together?
