We filed two I485s since we are not certain the relink is certainly working and my company lawyer also ok with 2 filings. My wife is the primary applicant.
We just got the receipt notice for 2nd I485. My wife’s A# is the same for both I485s. So she is fine, However, my A#s are different. Please see detail below.
1st LC (EB2) PD May 2002, approved at Aug 2007 by DBEC.
140 RD Sep 2007 and pending Nebraska Service Center
485 RD Oct 2007 and pending Nebraska Service Center (filed the second 485 due to uncertainty of relink at that time) A# A088 XXX XXX
2nd LC (EB2 perm) PD Dec 2006 approved Mar 2007
140 RD Mar 2007 and approved Jun 2007 at Texas Service Center
485 RD Aug 2007 and pending at Texas Service Center
AP & EAD are applied with this 485 and have same A# with this I485. A# A089 XXX XXX
I am writing to NSC and ask them to consolidate these two, but my question is which one I need to change to? I am thinking that should be A089 XXX XXX, because my AP & EAD is linked to this application? Am I right?
And how can I check if it is consolidated or not? By calling them or they will give me some sort of mail to inform me the change has been made? Just wonder what the way to follow up is.
