About requesting Cross-chargeability for my I-485. Principal applicant was born in China, and spouse was born in Hong Kong. More details: http://web.wenxuecity.com/BBSView.php?SubID=immigration&MsgID=409314
My attorney charges $500 if he is to write a letter to USCIS to request Cross-chargeability. Should I do it myself and save $500? A helpful reader of this forum posed a sample letter (see below). I am not quite sure whether I can write the letter to USCIS myself or there is other special details only the lawyer knows. Please enlighten me. Thank you!
