I have got my GC for 5 years and have started my citizenship application. However, I want to go back to China to work for a few years. My question is whether my citizenship application will be affected if I do so, and what are the things I need to do if I go back. One specific question: If I am going to work for a US company and is able to get a N-470 approved, would that mean that I am safe to go back? If you can recommand an immigration lawyer in the DC area I would also appreciate that. Thank you.
