My hu*****and and I filed I-485 together, and I filed as dependent.
Currently Both my hu*****and and I are holding H-1B visa, I know that I can change job using EAD, but I'm thinking about the risk.
If my green card got rejected while my hu*****and still holding H-1B, I can always switch to H4, so that should be safe.
But how about if my hu*****and get green first, and my green card get rejected after that, what will heppen? can I still switch to H4? What my status will be then?
Similar question is if I'm H4 already which is quite normal, and if my hu*****and got green card first, and mine got rejected, can I still get a valid visa to stay in the States? Or I have to go back to China.
This is pretty confusing. Isn't it?
Thanks for any comments!
