PJ teacher--Can apply for H-4 visa afer using AP? ninohu2008-04-21 05:54:20

PJ or any teacher:

My hu*****and H-4 visa expires on 5/1/2008. Since my H1-B is under transferring, he is going to use AP traveling from Canada in next 2 or 3 months. Question:
1. What is his status in the US after he enters the States with AP (after 5/1)?
2. Can he still apply for H-4 visa in US consulate in Canada later after using AP?
