Is it strange that my I-485 transfered from NSC to Buffalo, NY wanttohaveababy2008-05-09 22:48:48

Does anybody have any clue about this kind of transfer? My I-140 is still pending, I am not sure why they even touch my I-485. If it is for the local interview, I do not live in NY either. Any information is appreciated
