I applied H4 two weeks ago, since my current job will end this month. Now I got an offer, and they are willing to apply non-profit H1B for me. The new job will start in August. Right now, what confuses me is if my current pending H4 is not approved promptly, could we still submit a new H1B petition? Normally H4 approval is slower than H1B, if the new H1B got approved first, how about that pending H4 case? It will stop automatically or continue to push me back to H4 again? I cross my fingers to hope this will not happen, but I can not stop thinking this troublesome situation. PJiang, and any experience one, please provide me an answer. Thank you very much.
