Apologize that I can not type Chinese in my computer.
First time to visit here. I get lots of information about greencard application.
I have a question about J-1 waiver. I had J-1 visa 10 years ago as Chinese citizen. After backed to China and worked for 8 month there, I moved to Canada for my Ph.D degree, got Canada "Green Card" and Canadian citizen. Now I am applying for greencard in USA. My question is:
1) Do I have to apply the J-1 Waiver as Canada Citizen?
2) if yes, how can I apply for it?
For this question, I called Chinese Embassy in Washington. The answer is short and clear " As Chinese Embassy, they can not process my J-1 Waiver". So, I can not apply J-1 Waiver through Chinese Embassy in Washington.
I know this is a rare case but believe that somebody know or has similar experience. Thanks for you help.
