From the title, you will know that I will change job. ai....min ku ah...can't stand my current boss. I already filed 485 more than 180 days with approved 140. Planning to take a new job. The new employer will not sponsor GC. So I will have to find my own lawyer. I just want to assess my risk in leaving my current job. I am highly appreicated that if you can share with me your knowledge or experience.
1) I know my current employer can't revoke my 140 case. Can they cancel my 485 case?
2) My current company is a big one. Every immigration issues will go through company hired lawyer. If I quit, do I need to stop my current lawyer's service? or I don't need to do anything. I just find my own lawyer.
3) Do I need anything from my current employer for example, employment history?
4) Can current employer cancel my green card if I got it after quitting the current job?
