Hi, I got laid off today, and 485 is still pending. I have EAD card. and I have been married to a citizen for 3 weeks now.
have a few questions:
1. Can I start working as independent contractor using my EAD card? I already found contracts and can start asap.
2. To start my family based greencard process, do I need to cancel my current application?
3. How much grace period do I have between now and starting the new process?
