Received "Intend to deny" for I-140 as EB-1b. H-1b status expires in Feb 2009. Please see if I am qualified for EB-1a:
1. 28 papers including 15 English papers (4 first authors) and
13 Chinese papers (10 first).
2. Citation total 240, English citation 160 and Chinese paper
citation 80.
3. co-authored book chapter world-wide circulation
4. 13 conference abstract (10 first author), including 5 oral
presentation, 1 was ranked as the third best abstract in the
field
5. 6 invited review for journals
6. 2 young investigator award from professional society, 2
third place science and technology progress prize at
provincial level ( regcognized nationally)
7. 1 NIH equivalent grant as PI
8. Sigma Xi full member
9. job offer as faculty position for research in university.
Some other questions:
After I-140 (intend to deny) and I-485 have been filed, can I apply for O- 1 visa? How long usually will it be approved? During O-1 application pending, can I and my spouse still work?
