我7月中拿到大学I20并且File H1对F1转换申请。8月小公司经济不好我就离开了。9月初大学开学时入学，已考过期中了。
昨天收到USCIS I-797E，要求我提供补充材料。看不懂信中说，“Your Program Start Date may have passed by the time your file gets adjudicated. Provide a new I-20 to established an Updated Start Date, making certain that it is properly signed and dated by completing both the School and Student certification section. "
我不懂为什么要提供新的I－20呢. 而且Update Start Date 是什么意思呢？在我原已有的I20上，有两个日期：1）签字日期 2）学校开学日期。难道，USCIS是希望我在新的I20上，改变“开学”日期吗？可这怎么可能呢？
