Is it a good time for Adjustment submission while we are travell zhuangzhuang062008-12-16 17:08:09

I am filing I-140 EB-1B. We want to submit the I-140 package before we are travelling back to China at Christmas (have to back to China for 3 weeks). Is it risky to submit the Adjustment (I-485) package including EAD and AP together with I-140 before our trip? If yes, what are the risks? I am back to China with H1B visa.
