My J1 will be expired in 15 days. It looks like I should chena status to F1 or others, but the duration of status changing may wait about 2 months , or 5 months. I have a job interview in china which i don't want to give up, but it has psotponed several times, now it will be in summer this year. originally, i want to apply for EB1a, and get the AP to go back to China for interview. but if I apply for changing status, i have to wait until F1 approved before i could apply for EB1a, then get AP, in this case, i might not be catch the interview in China, there are 3 concerns here, 1. if i don't apply for f1, just aos, if !485 denied, i will have to leave the US right away. 2, if I give up F1, the inetrview might postpone again when the time approching ( may or may not), then, it looks like i give up F1 for nothing; 3. If i apply F1, if i have to wait for 5 months even more, then i could not meet the interview ( if the interview is on time). Teacher Pijiang, which is the better and safer way to choose? Thanks a lot
