I got my driver license when I was a F1 student. Its expiration date was associated with my old I-20 valid date (01/01/2009). Now my status has become AOS. When I tried to renew my driver license today, a state agency told me that USCIS had put a note under my name which indicated my driver license couldn't be renewed after the 01/01/2009 expiration date.
I called USCIS. Its customer representative told me that I had make an appointment with USCIS local offices and ask them to take care it.
Have you had similar experience? How did you handle it?
