H1B extension and 485 pending aee032009-04-29 01:55:31

My I-140 approved and 485 is pending. My first three year H1b will expire soon. The school refused to extent my H1B and asked me to apply EAD. Does anybody experience this kind of thing? I still want to keep my H1B status. The school keep saying that no one's I-485 get denied. What can I do?
