I want to visit my parents in summer, and was told by my company's lawyer that I need an H1B visa stamp on my Canadian passport in addition to my current I-94 and other valid documents.
The reason is because I was born in China, and H1B is according to the birth place, not the citizenship. She said that "this is the core value of all US immigration law, and being a canadian citizen won't change the fact of your all related immigration issues, such as H1b, and green card...."
I am totally confused now. It will be highly appreciated if you can advise me on this issue or share your experience with me if you have similar experience.
Thank you very much!
