I applied for permanent immigration in May, 2003, got first letter in July, 2003. In April, 2004 I got the second letter, asking for update document, ME and finger print to RCMP. In May 2004, I submitted my finger print, but surprisingly I got my original fingerprint with the results on it back to me yesterday, I mean my fingerprints and comments on it, saying there is no record for crime something like that. I remember in the letter from the Buffelo immigration office that all applicants have their finger print done in local police office and mail it to RCMP. The RCMP will send the results to the Canadian Consulate and will not return the fingerprints to applicants. So why I got my fingerprints with the results on it back to me. Does the Canadian consulate or the immigration office in Buffelo also get a copy of the same results? Do I need to send the immigration office in Buffelo the original fingerprint back to me? Does anybody have the same experience?

By the way, in the second letter, it says I can also send the money for immigration, CD$975,at this time, too. And I did, but I didn't get any receipt or information, saying that they have recieved either my document or my money. I mean when first time I submitted the application with the processing fee, they sent us first letter with the receipt for the money inside. But this time, nothing. I wonder if they got my material and money or not.

Anybody has the same experience? What should I do? Thanks!
