My hu*****and is thinking of a position in TX. If it happens I can request remote work. But I have no idea how it would impact our green card process. Should I encourage my hu*****and applying for that position or say it is not a good time? I am the green card applicant. Here is some basic information about our green card application.
Applying state: CT
EB – 2 with Perm Priority Date: 12/5/2005
I – 140 approved Date: July 10, 2006
I - 485 Received Date: June 28, 2007
I –485 Notice Date: July 23, 2007
When the priority date becomes current, how long it normally takes to get the green card?
If I change the job location to TX (remote working in the same company), is it good for my green card or bad? Do I need to change the center from Nebraska to Texas? Are there any things we need to consider, especially the negative impact?
