H1 just expired, and about to switch company, do i have to renew bryan_m2009-10-22 00:34:07

I'm currently holding both EAD and H1 but just found out my H1 expired on 9/30/09. And also i'm currently looking for a new job and about to switch employer soon. Do you think i should renew my H1 or just use the EAD and void my H1 since the chance of 485 got rejected is fairly small (i think). What do you think? Thanks in advance
