Didn't thank you last time. Not because I was rude, just my post sinked to bottom fast.
In short, I was issued a one year EAD card. Mailed it back on Oct, and they kept making other mistakes. Sending back my application on Nov, scrwed up expedite requests, and still confused. Now, there are two expedite requests pending for this case.
Filed a complaint against NSC through Ombudsman today. The laday was very nice, not sure it will work out or not. Another officer at NBC also promised to escalate this issue internally and promised to call me back. The black female supervisor at local field office is really bad also refused to help me secure an interim EAD. Her reason is that this is an approved case. Contrary to what other people thought, local office still do interim EAD, not directly though. What a mess USCIS made!
The problem is that if I apply for another EAD card at TSC, SOBs at NSC probably would void my application with them immediately. I am kind of in a "catch22 situation". Another officer at Local Field office told me they are mostly contractors and would enjoy doing bad things (I added the 2nd half).
I probably will take the chance and keep working. If they get me, I would leave this country and possibly do some fighting before I had to. I think we are pardoned for 180 days of illegal working. Am I right?
I have been a good person, working hard, respecting laws, and making donations to charity, kind of determined to do something bad.
