7/22 service request said need biomatrix; called officer (not representative), he said I don't need to do biomatrix
7/28 call uscis, place another service request, being told will get news within 15 days
8/2: received response of second service request from email that my EAD renewal was approved on 7/30; online status was still initial review
经验：跟USCIS打电话时，不要选“3”，客服中心只会让你重复无用的yesno问题；我后来是选“4”或“9”，这两个选项的工作人员比较好说话，会帮你转到第二级的officer那里。我的感觉是我7/28日跟第二级的officer的电话起了作用，两天后就批了。这一级的官员更有耐心听你解释你失去EAD后的种种困难。还没得到renew 的朋友们加油，多跟USCIS 打电话，坚持就是胜利！
