my wife and I got citizenship early this year. My parents in-law are here, their green card application going smoothly, interview scheduled in september. many thanks to the posts and blogs on Wenxuecity, very helpful.

Now, several things make me sleepless.

#1, my elder sister, med 40s, divorced, life quality is low in China. I want to apply green card for her and her son,
her son is 17 yrs old now. but i heard this procedure may take as long as 7 years. by then, my nephew will not
be a minor.

What is the policy about this situation?

Should I file the application for my sister only?

#2, My parents is waiting for their turn eagerly, they are 70 yrs old now. but my in-laws have no plan to leave my home in the next 5 years until they can get the senior- benefits.
I can image what a disaster it will be if two families live under the same roof.
So, my question is if my in-laws and my parents take turns to travel between China and here for, say, each other 8 months, by which neither of them break the "1 year expiration rule",
Is there any effect for their benefits 5 years later?

#3,
My God, medical insurance, 4 seniors, the probability of any one of them get sick, will be dramatically high.
We don't have any med-insurance for my in-Laws right now, they are in meddle 60s, so far OK. Any suggestion, any information about insurance will be highly appreciated.
