My old H1B (I-94) was expired in September, and the H1B extension is still pending though it was withdrew in Septempber. My new H1B transfer was in early October (after I-94 expired) and started to work at the end of October.
My H1B is just approved without I-94 (email, the formal USCIS letter is not received yet). So I stoped working for new company.
Since there is a gap between 2 H1Bs, what documents should I take for visa and what should I pay more attension to? Is there more possibility to get checked due to the gap?
What if I was asked for I-94 (expired)? Can I leave USA without a I-94?
In addition, I need the PIMS verification for visa. How could I know whether the attorney applied it (he said he did)? Is there some proof I should show to the immigration officer?
