your answer: "If your 6 year H1 still have at least 2 years to go, then you can extend your H1 for another 3 years from 9/2011. Otherwise, you only can extend your H1 for the left H1 of the 6 year limit plus one year beyond the 6 year limit (using your approved I-140), e.g. you have one year H1 to reach the 6 year limit (you have used 5 year H1), then you can extend your H1 for another two years."
I already used up 6 years limit. in 2009 my I-140 get approved so I had extended 3 years until 2012. Now my PD is current and will file 485 August. 如果我在递485之后再延期, 则只有一年; 如果在递485之前延期, 则可三年,is my understanding correct? 可以自己做延期吗?
another option: can I travel to Bahama and come back in order to get a new I-94?
