Why is the priority date for LD different from mine? wxczhang2012-01-09 22:05:43

My EB2 PD is Oct. 5, 2008. I recently filed I485 for LD and myself. I received two receipts today (Jan. 9). The PD on my I-797C is correct (Oct. 5, 2008). However, the PD on LD's I-797C is Jan. 3, 2012, which is the same as received date. My questions are:

1. Why is the priority date for LD different from mine? I assume we will have the same PD.

 

2. Do I need to call USCIS to correct the PD for LD?
