There are urgent needs for two permanent positions of certified elementary Chinese teachers for Chinese-English dual language program in a public school, Chapel Hill, North Carolina, US. Chapel Hill is the town where University of North Carolina locates. The public school district is one of the top public school systems in NC. The dual language program has 10 years successful history and is an immersion style, 24 students with 12 :12 from native English and Chinese speaking families respectively. There are two different classrooms, one for Chinese teaching and one for English teaching. One English teacher pairs with one Chinese teacher who teach two grades and students switch classrooms in the middle of the day. Teachers have their own teaching assistants and own classrooms.
