I would like to go to school in US to continue my education after being a full-time mom for 12 years. But my TOEFL test did not meet the university's requirement, I have to choose learning ESL program instead first. Since a community college is cheaper, I plan to use their I-20 to apply for my F-1 visa. I would like to change status from B2 to F1 within US, but I heard the chance is very low. However, if I go back to China to apply, is there a higher possibility to get F-1 for a middle-aged lady who wants to learn English first in a community college? I seriously doubt it. Teacher 8, Can you please advise me which way is better for me to get F1 visa? Thank you very much in advance for your help.
