We were informed that our 485 case was transfered to Baltimore, and Baltimore office will schedule an interview with us soon. But we are in Kentucky. Yesterday the lawyer told us through HR that the case was transferred by mistake, as it should be sent to our local office. She said she'll try to contact INS and ask them to resend it, but she had no idea how long that'll take. Could be very long. That's our impression. We were just wondering if this is really a mistake. Is it possible for us to have our interview in Baltimore? Anybody has that kind of experience? Please advise. We appreciate it very much.
