My OPT expires by the end of July. My hu*****and (H1B) is ready to submit I-140/485 concurrently. Is it true if I don't find a position and submit H1B application before we submit I-485 jointly, I won't be able to change to H1B or H4 later?
If so, when I find a position after 485 joint submission, do I have to use EAD to work, no matter I'll be H4 or OPT at that time? Then if the I-485 is denied for any reason, if I use EAD, do I have to leave the US?
