I would like to apply for NIW and looking for support letters
I contact a researcher in NIH and here is what he respond:
"Unfortunately, it is NIH policy which forbid writing such letter for a person asking a new visa.
The only alternative is I can write a recommendation letter to WHOM IT MAY CONCERN, talking about your talents and How you are good in your field,
With NO mention that this letter is addressed to INS. Then its up to you to use the letter for job or any other things.
If you interested in such letter please write a recommendation letter for yourself and send it to me"
Does anyone have similar experience? Or what's your suggestion, should
I get a letter anyhow? Thanks
