My 485 was transfered to the local office and is still pending. I called INS today about the application of Advance Parole. An assistant told me that I can submit I-131 Form to my local office. But she said that "Advance Parole can not ensure you re-enter USA". My questions are: 1). How long it will take to approve I-131 in a local office (my 70-years old father is very sick in the hospital in China. I need to visit him asap)? 2). Can Advance Parole ensure you 100% re-enter the States? Thanks.
