I just got a job offer and will go to work in the end of May. My OPT starting date is April 1. It looks like the company will not apply H1B for me until I go to work. I am a little concerned about H1B quota. I can only apply 2006 H1B. The first day to apply is April 1, 2005. Do you think the H1B quota (65,000) will run out in June or July this year? As far as I know the 2005 H1B quota was run out on Oct 2004. But people say this year has a better job market so more people get job and apply H1B.
