Today I received the photocopy of my RIR application filed two months ago. I found there were some typos. For instance, my company’ name is My Local Small Co. The abbreviation should be MLSC. However, the lawyer spelled it as MSLC from the beginning. The MSLC was used mistakenly 5 times in the recruitment report. The worst part is he used the correct one (MLSC) once in the middle of the letter.

Another problem, in the hiring ads, my company only used the abbreviation as the company name. I just wonder how badly these typos could hurt my application.

My experience is finding a reliable lawyer is the most important thing during the process of applying for the green card (if the company does not have one). If not because of my company preferred having a lawyer, I wish I did it all by myself. Nobody else will take care of your business as seriously as you do.

I have been the U.S. for 5 years. I studied real hard and work real hard. Finally, I was qualified to apply for LC. And then, the shit likes this happened to me. Any time I picture I need wait for two years and one day I will receive a denied letter because of those stupid typos, I just feel green card is a pain in the heart.

给回一个吧.
