I am a telecomm software engineer who is currently working for a consulting company. My six year H1-B will be expired on Feb, 2006. My EB2 Labor certification case was filed on 01/24/2005 in NH. Unfortunately, my salary is in level 1 prevailing salary category but the job description does mention "Master degree required". Can anybody tell me how much likely will my EB2 case be rejected? Since all the LC cases are forwarded to backlog centers, I expect there will be two more years waiting for the approval of my LC.

Now, there is another comsulting company willing to bring me in and promises to help me on PERM, also with higher salary. What should I do? Is that worth to give a try on PERM? My concern is if PERM gets rejected, I will lose chance to file extention of my H1-B then. Appreciate any suggestions.
