Regarding our case of EAD (See here http://web.wenxuecity.com/BBSView.php?SubID=immigration&MsgID=86478 for more information), we got it last Friday, even though we never got the UCIS reciept. We did not re-apply neither. Looks as if it only takes about 40 days to get a EAD (This is the first time application for my wife).
