中国外交部发言人赵立坚在今天（22日）的例行记者会上表示，叙利亚人民的命也是命，美军行径残暴血腥程度令人发指。更令人愤慨的是，正如美国媒体指出，美军此前从未公开承认过叙利亚巴格兹空袭造成平民伤亡。在近3年时间里，美军一直在有意地、系统性地试图掩盖这一事件。直到媒体对袭击事件的描述提出质疑，美国军方才被迫承认有平民丧生。在之后的“评估报告”里，美军仍然刻意将有关事件描述为“执行失误”和“无心之过”，不愿为此承担责任。这简直就是草菅人命。
