Author: Georg Frideric Handel or Georg Friedrich Handel (1685-1759) Handel's 'Arrival of the Queen of Sheba' (from 'Solomon') was composed in 1748 and has become one of the the world's best-loved classics. Perfect for any event, wedding or celebration and a fun piece to play at a recital. Solomon (HWV 67) is an oratorio by George Frideric Handel. Its libretto is based on the biblical stories of wise king Solomon and is attributed to Newburgh Hamilton.
