Music is leaning towards the nature more. And words or literature seems to be a more intelligently and logically creation of human. That probably distinguishes instrumental music and songs. That is why you may see wild animal attracted by a piece of music but rarely by a speech. haha.
A stretch of pure music without words drops the sophisticated human logics in the piece, whereas a song uses both music and words to reach a balance there and make the strongest impact of the audience.
I have been evolved to a phase of my life, tending to drop my wisdom which is mediocre at best anyway. Seems like, I am surrendering to my nature side in music more and more to be able to. Or shall I say, haha, you bag of lazy bones!
