【We Are Ukrainians】

7:30am in the morning, the time of
Waking up from the aroma of coffee
Freshly baked bread, Children head to school
Tourists gather in the square, marvel at
The beauty of golden domes
But today, they wake up from missile blasts,
Air raid sirens, explosions, tanks roaring
Full scale invasion from the Russians and Belarus
A group of Ukrainians gather in the square
They kneel down and pray
The stones are hard cold, just as the heart of
Invaders, crossing from Russian Belarus borders
As well as from Crimea
I kneel down with you, thousands miles away
Pray that you are not harmed, my Ukrainian friends
Praying seems to be the only thing
The weak and innocent can do
When hooligans and bullies come straight at us
But do believe, there is justice for everything
Our calls will be answered for, sooner or later
Victory awaits, "We Are Ukrainians"
Enemies, look up to the sky, it is coming
