不是内个“红脖子”，^_^。因为（图）帖，当然鸟事为主，*_*。
上图：
先是看到这个家伙用两门“大炮”对着一个小水塘用功，而大海就在身边，以为是又一位个性分子，没多想。
溜了一圈回来，他还在。正巧，一位披挂完全的 birdwatcher 从身边走过，老太太和我打招呼“Did you get that？”。“What are you talking about?”
老人家用手一指，“The redneck gull”。
这才注意到，小水塘里的几个家伙是有些不同：
谢过了老人家。
“They are rare.” 临走不忘告诉我。
回家查了一下，不是“gull”，学名是“Red-Necked Phalarope ”，与“鹤”类更表亲。非濒危种类，只是在我这里不常见。
红脖子。
再往下查，有趣的来了，在繁殖季节：
“The females pursue and fight over males, and will defend their mate from other females until the clutch is complete and the male begins incubation. The males perform all incubation and chick-rearing activities, while the females may attempt to find another mate. If a male loses his eggs to predation, he may re-pair with his original mate or a new female to try again. Once it becomes too late in the breeding season to start new nests, females begin their southward migration, leaving the males to incubate the eggs and look after the young.”

其中的“clutch”是一窝蛋的意思。母鸟生完就跑，此鸟版的三字经是“养不大，父之过。”
所谓“母爱，母亲，母慈”什么的，都是楼上那个家伙创造出了“哺乳类”之后来的。在鸟界，“父亲节”可以排在“母亲节”之前，^_^。
