Examination Performed: A complete two-dimensional resting transthoracic echocardiogram with
color flow and Doppler was performed. The heart rhythm was sinus.
Left Ventricle: The left ventricle is normal in size. There is mild concentric LVH.
Calculated EF = 68.4 %. There are no wall motion abnormalities.
Right Ventricle: Normal right ventricular size and systolic function.
Left Atrium: The left atrium is normal in size. LA Vol (biplane) - 23.2 ml/m^2.
Right Atrium: The right atrium is normal in size.
Aortic Valve: Normal trileaflet valve morphology with normal cusp separation. There is no
regurgitation.
Mitral Valve: Normal mitral valve morphology with normal leaflet excursion. There is no
appreciable mitral regurgitation.
Tricuspid Valve: Normal morphology with trace regurgitation. RVSP = 17.0 mmHg + CVP.
Pulmonic Valve: Normal pulmonic valve morphology with normal forward flows. There is no
regurgitation.
Aortic Root: The aortic root is normal in size . The ascending aorta is normal in size.
Pericardium: The pericardium is normal in appearance.
Inferior Vena Cava: The inferior vena cava is normal in size, collapsing with inspiration.
